Display Benchmarks: How to guide

  1. There are three different views for visualising our benchmarking data.

Snapshot Report: This shows all metrics at once based on your selected country, vertical and format.. You can use filters and dates to refine your data set

Trends: A graphical chart for your specific metric. Helpful in identifying trends of display performance between two specific dates.

Map View: View your specific metric across the world. Mouse-over a country for values or zoom into a continent for easier navigation.

Formats View: Compare performance across the most popular formats and sizes (MPU, Leaderboard, Sky)

  2. Select the metrics that you would like to be displayed in your current view (these are not selectable when within Snapshot Report)

CTR - Click Through Rate - The ratio of clicks to an external URL to the number of impressions of the ad.

CTR SM - Click through Rate Standard Media - The ratio of clicks to an external URL to the number of impressions of the ad for images and standard Flash creatives (not Rich Media)

CTR RM - Click through Rate Rich Media - The ratio of clicks to an external URL to the number of impressions of the ad for Rich Media creatives.

Interaction Rate - The ratio of rich media ad interactions to the number of times the ad was displayed.

Interaction Time - The average amount in time, in seconds, that a user interacts with a Rich Media ad.

Video Midpoint - The ratio of the number of times a video played to its mid point to the number of times a video was started.

  3. Add filters (by country, vertical, format or size) to refine your results (Please note not all combinations of countries/verticals/formats/sizes contain data.)

  4. By default the Snapshot Report and map View will show data for the last 3 month period however you can easily alter this to reflect a more specific date range by using the drop down menu.
